OK, let me resort to the last refuge of all Indians - The Mahabharat.
In that epic ( considered to be true by many) , Abhimanyu knew how to enter the Chakravyuha ( circular maze formation ) by the enemy, but didn't know the way out and he was killed. In modern times, if the governments of the two most populous countries are to be believed , nobody enters anywhere , yet their armies execute a retreat.
Now, that is really epic !!
